The Minnesota AgriGrowth Council (AgriGrowth) Ag & Food Summit will take place Nov. 7 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Each November, AgriGrowth hosts the Ag & Food Summit providing attendees and guests with insightful updates from leaders in state and federal government, and experts in academia and business from across the spectrum of Minnesota's diverse agri-food chain.

"AgriGrowth is proud of our reputation as a key convener and collaborator in the Minnesota ag and food production market," said Tamara Nelsen, executive director of AgriGrowth. "The presenters, experts, and elected officials attending this year's Ag & Food Summit exemplify that tradition and raise the bar to new heights."

This year's Ag & Food Summit will include timely economic and market updates, provided by Jonathan Kozy of Bank of America Corporation, as well as an update on the political implications for agriculture provided by Jim Wiesemeyer of ProFarmer. New to this year's line-up is a panel of some of Minnesota's most notable leaders in the grocery industry including Craig Thorvig, president, Chris' Food Center; and Emily Coborn, chief operating officer, from Coborn's Inc.

"Our policy and market expert panels will be a 'must see' viewing for anyone connected to agriculture," said Patrick Murray, AgriGrowth director of government and member relations. "Minnesota Governor Tim Walz leading the way with an update on the state of Minnesota's ag sector and keynote speaker Bill Northey the under secretary for farm production and conservation at the U.S. Department of Agriculture - are sure to bring members and guests from all over Minnesota's agribusiness and food production sectors."
