Free Bale Grazing Webinar Dec. 15

Funded by grants from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture Sustainable Ag Demonstration Grant Program, and the NCR SARE Farmer Rancher Development Grant, the MN Bale Grazing Study took an innovative approach to the question, "How much can you afford to pay for hay?" With a particular focus on the soil benefits of spent hay litter remaining on site after winter bale grazing.

John Mesko, grass fed beef producer, will describe the MN Bale Grazing Project, including the testing protocol, actual results and conclusions. The presentation includes aerial photos of the bale grazing site, and forage and soil quality test results.

No pre-registration is required, the webinar will start promptly at 2 p.m. and is open to the first 50 people to gain access to the site.
