I-29 Moo U Dairy Beef on Animal Health, Carcass Traits

The I-29 Moo University Dairy Beef Short Course will be held on March 24, 2020 as part of the pre-educational events for the Central Plains Dairy Expo. The short course will be held in the Denny Sanford Premier Center, Sioux Falls, S.D., in rooms 8, 9, and 10. This year's program will focus on dairy beef carcasses at the farm, processor and consumer end, along with targeting health considerations for maximum performance.

The Dairy Beef Short Course, hosted by I-29 Moo University, is a collaboration of South Dakota State University, the University of Minnesota, Iowa State University, North Dakota State, and University of Nebraska Extension Services, Iowa State Dairy Association, South Dakota Dairy Producers Association, Nebraska Dairy Association and Minnesota Milk Producers Association.

A registration fee of $25 per person will include the short course, lunch and proceedings. Registration closes March 20 and the event is limited to 130 attendees on a first come, first serve basis.
