The University of Minnesota Extension will host its Agricultural Tax Issues webinar on Oct. 13, 2026, providing agricultural tax professionals and industry stakeholders with updates on current agricultural tax laws and regulations. The one-day virtual program is designed to help participants stay informed on tax issues affecting farmers and agricultural businesses.
The course is intended for tax professionals who prepare individual and farm tax returns, including CPAs, enrolled agents, attorneys, CFP professionals and VITA volunteers. It will also be beneficial for agricultural lenders, farm management instructors and other professionals who work with farm businesses.
The webinar will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT and will focus on recent tax law developments and their impact on agricultural operations. Participants will gain practical insights that can be applied when advising clients and preparing farm tax returns.
Instruction will be provided by Rob Holcomb and Nathan Hulinsky, both educators with the University of Minnesota Extension. The program will cover key agricultural tax topics and issues affecting producers and agricultural businesses.
Attendees can earn eight CPE hours, eight CFP hours and 6.5 CLE hours in Minnesota through participation in the webinar. Participants must remain actively engaged throughout the event to receive full continuing education credit.
Registration is $245. The webinar will be conducted in English and is part of the University of Minnesota Extension's ongoing efforts to provide educational resources and professional development opportunities for agricultural and tax professionals.
