Finals of the Manure Challenge Going Virtual This Year
USAgNet - 05/27/2020
The Manure Challenge will see eight international start-ups, each with a solution to capture value from manure-based nutrients, present their final pitch to a live digital audience of high profile investors and industry leaders.
The judging panel will select the winner of the $50,000 non-dilutive prize, to be announced by Cargill at the end of the session.
It all takes place on June 2. The goal of the Manure Challenge is to create an expedited pathway to circular farm economies through the creation of new revenue streams from waste and by-products (water, manure and nutrients).
The Challenge started in partnership with the WWF, Dairy Farmers of America and Newtrient, and is sponsored by Cargill, The Maschhoffs and WeWork Food Labs.
