John Deere has announced plans to bring back more than 375 employees to its manufacturing operations in Illinois, further strengthening its ability to meet customer needs and prepare for future agricultural demands.
The workforce expansion includes approximately 150 employees returning to the company's Seeding and Cylinder Operations facility in Moline and about 225 employees returning to Harvester Works in East Moline. Together, these facilities play an important role in producing equipment used throughout the agricultural sector.
The latest announcement continues with a broader hiring and recall effort by the company. Since the beginning of the year, John Deere has hired or brought back more than 800 employees across Iowa and Illinois.
