The Minnesota Beginning Farmer Institute has designed an insightful four-session course to dig deep into farm management topics. Through interactive methods, participants will benefit from presentations and educational materials distributed in each workshop.

What You Will Learn:

Business Planning: Understand the structure and application of business plans and objectives.

Taxation and Business Entities: Get acquainted with taxes, deductions, expenses, and the various business entities available.

Financial Record Keeping: Dive into financial statements, understanding the intricacies of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.

Grain Marketing and Land Rent: Learn about the cost of production, grain marketing techniques, and nuances of land rent.

Course Schedule:

Mark your calendars for four consecutive Tuesdays starting from Jan. 9 and ending on Jan. 30.
