Glaeser Steps Down as MFBF Public Policy Director

After 10 years with the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF), Director of Public Policy Amber Glaeser has resigned her position. Her last day will be Oct. 14.

She has accepted a position as the state government affairs director at Land O'Lakes headquarters in Arden Hills, Minn.

"Growing up on a family farm, I understood from an early age the importance of farmer's sharing their stories. Being able to advocate for Minnesota agriculture for the past decade was a privilege and I look forward to still working with farmers in my new capacity."

Glaeser joined MFBF in 2012. Since then, she has led the lobbying efforts on behalf of MFBF's grassroots membership at the local, state and federal level.

She also helped lead several policy-focused programs offered through MFBF, including Day on the Hill visits, Farmers to D.C. trips, the annual Council of County Presidents grassroots advocacy training and Campaign School.

A search for a new director will begin immediately. Until a director is on staff, all policy-related media inquiries should be directed to Director of Communications Rachel Reisig.
