The Minnesota Renewable Energy Society will host a virtual event on Thursday, December 18, bringing members together for networking, learning, and reflection. The event will take place via Zoom and is open to participants interested in renewable energy development and sustainability efforts.
The evening will begin with a short networking session from 5:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., allowing attendees to connect and exchange ideas in an informal online setting. This will be followed by the main presentation from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
During the presentation, the organization’s board chair will share a year-in-review update covering key activities and accomplishments from 2025. The session will also outline goals and priorities for 2026, with a strong focus on growing membership and strengthening efforts to increase the share of renewable energy in both electricity generation and transportation systems.
The presentation will highlight how collaboration, education, and community involvement support long-term clean energy goals. Attendees will gain insight into how the organization plans to address future challenges related to energy transition and sustainability.
Following the presentation, participants are invited to stay at a virtual celebration. This closing segment is designed to recognize the collective efforts of members and supporters while reinforcing shared goals for the coming year.
The event provides an opportunity for individuals interested in renewable energy to stay informed, engage with like-minded peers, and support initiatives that promote cleaner and more resilient energy systems. For registration click on the meet link https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register .
