Corn stored in all positions in Minnesota on September 1, 2022, totaled 142 million bushels, up 32 percent from September 1, 2021, according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service -- Grain Stocks report. Of the total stocks, 49 percent were stored on-farm. The June-August 2022 indicated disappearance totaled 325 million bushels, 12 percent below the 369 million bushels from the same quarter the previous year.
Soybeans stored in all positions in Minnesota on September 1, 2022, totaled 25.9 million bushels, down 8 percent from September 1, 2021. Of the total stocks, 38 percent were stored on-farm. Indicated disappearance for JuneAugust 2022 was 68.2 million bushels, 52 percent above the 44.8 million bushels from the same quarter the previous year.
All wheat stored in all positions in Minnesota on September 1, 2022, totaled 82.9 million bushels, up 11 percent from September 1, 2021. Of the total stocks, 74 percent were stored on-farm. Indicated disappearance for JuneAugust 2022 was 16.6 million bushels, 38 percent below the 27.0 million bushels from the same quarter last year.
