The University of Minnesota Extension Women in Ag Network Conference will be held on Tuesday February 3, 2026, at The Park Event Center in Waite Park Minnesota. The event will run from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm and brings together women involved in agriculture from across the region.
The Minnesota Department of Agriculture will participate in the conference as a sponsor presenter and exhibitor highlighting its continued support for women led agricultural businesses and rural entrepreneurship.
The theme for this year’s conference is "Building Your Business: Starting Strong, Scaling Smart, Succeeding Strategically." The program is designed to help participants at different stages of their agricultural journey gain practical knowledge and confidence to grow successful operations.
Sessions will focus on building strong business foundations, including planning finance and decision making. Attendees will also learn how to use data driven approaches to scale operations wisely while managing risk. Strategic planning sessions will emphasize balancing business growth with long term sustainability and personal goals.
In addition to educational sessions, the conference provides valuable networking opportunities. Participants can connect with peer's mentors and industry professionals to exchange ideas and learn from shared experiences. These connections help create supportive networks that extend beyond the event itself.
The conference aims to deliver actionable takeaways that participants can apply directly to their farms and agribusiness ventures. By combining practical tools for real world strategies and collaborative learning, the event supports long-lasting business success.
