tudents, alumni, faculty, and staff at the University of Minnesota are invited to attend the U.S. Farm Report College Roadshow on October 22, 2026. The event will feature agricultural journalist and television host Tyne Morgan and highlight agricultural research, innovation, and education at the university.
The live taping will take place on the lawn near the bull sculptures on the St. Paul campus. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 10 a.m. for refreshments, CFANS merchandise, and sign-making activities before the broadcast begins at 10:30 a.m.
Presented by CROPLAN Seed and John Deere, the College Roadshow visits land-grant universities across the country to showcase agricultural research and connect audiences with experts and students. This year's event will spotlight the work of the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) at the University of Minnesota.
For more than four decades, U.S. Farm Report has focused on agriculture, rural communities, and country living. Its annual campus tour highlights research and innovations that are shaping the future of farming and food production.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Tyne Morgan and CFANS experts while enjoying refreshments, prize giveaways, and limited-edition CFANS items. Organizers encourage participants to register by October 15,2026 to help with event planning.
The event will also include a student poster contest open to University of Minnesota students. Participants can bring a completed poster or create one onsite for a chance to win a $250 gift card.
The College Roadshow provides a chance for the university community to showcase school spirit and agricultural achievements while participating in a nationally televised program focused on the future of agriculture.
