Connect Learn At 4H Event

Connect Learn At 4H Event

By Scout Nelson

4-H in Pine County is organizing a Livestock Project Development Committee mixer and meeting for youth and adults interested in livestock projects. The event will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. CDT at the Hinckley Community Room in Hinckley, Minnesota.

This event is open to all youth and adults who want to learn more about livestock projects or support young participants involved in agriculture. It provides a welcoming environment where attendees can connect, share ideas, and build stronger community relationships.

The evening begins with appetizers and casual conversation. This allows participants to meet others who share similar interests in livestock and agriculture. After this, a Cloverbud activity will take place, followed by a meeting focused on livestock project development. The agenda for the meeting will be shared before the event to help participants prepare.

The Livestock Project Development Committee plays an important role in guiding 4-H programs. It helps support youth by providing learning opportunities, organizing events, and improving project experiences. By attending the meeting, participants can learn more about how these programs operate and how they can contribute.

The event is free, and no registration is required. This makes it easy for anyone interested to attend and take part in the activities. For those who cannot attend in person, virtual participation may be available by contacting the event organizer in advance.

The program is delivered in English, and interpreter services may be available if requested ahead of time. Organizers are committed to providing equal opportunities for all participants. Accommodations for individuals with disabilities can be arranged if requested at least two weeks before the event.

For questions or more information, participants can contact the Extension educator for 4-H Youth Development. This event offers a valuable opportunity to learn, connect, and support livestock education in the community.
