Community members can participate in Before They Take Hold: Stopping the Spread of Invasive Species, a free online educational program scheduled for Oct. 20, 2026. The one-hour webinar will be open to the public and conducted through Zoom.
The event is being offered in partnership with the University of Minnesota Extension and local conservation organizations. Participants will learn how invasive species affect natural habitats, compete with native plants, and threaten local ecosystems.
