Farmers, landlords, and agri-business professionals are invited to attend an informative and free workshop focusing on farmland rental rates in Minnesota. Scheduled for January 5, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Central time, this online event promises valuable insights into several key aspects of farmland renting.
The workshop will cover a range of topics essential to understanding the dynamics of farmland renting. These include an analysis of local historic and projected farmland rental rate trends, an overview of current farmland values and sales, and guidance on determining fair rental agreements.
Participants will also gain insights into input costs, current corn and soybean prices, and how to determine affordable rent. The workshop will discuss the rate of return to landlords at current market values and the benefits of flexible rental agreements.
This event is entirely free but registration is mandatory for those interested in receiving the Zoom link.
