Join 4H Livestock Meeting in Hinckley

By Scout Nelson

Pine County 4-H is inviting all youth and supporters of livestock projects to attend its upcoming Livestock Project Development Committee (PDC) mixer and meeting. The event will take place on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Central Time at the Hinckley Community Room, located at 106 1st St SE, Hinckley, Minnesota.

This evening event is a great opportunity for youth involved in 4-H livestock projects and their supporters to come together, connect, and learn more about future activities. The event will kick off with light appetizers and casual conversations, providing a relaxed setting to meet others who share a passion for livestock education and youth development.

Following the mixer, there will be a special Cloverbud activity designed for younger 4-H members. This fun and interactive session will give Cloverbuds a chance to participate and feel included in the livestock community.

Afterward, the Livestock PDC meeting will take place. During this meeting, participants can expect to hear updates about the 4-H livestock program, learn about new project opportunities, and discuss upcoming events and ideas. An updated agenda will be shared closer to the meeting date.

The event is hosted by Pine County 4-H with support from local Extension educators. For more information, interested participants can contact Sarah Odendahl, Extension Educator for 4-H Youth Development, via email at sodendah@umn.edu or by phone at 320-591-1654.

This event is open to anyone interested in supporting youth livestock projects in Pine County. Whether you are a long-time 4-H member or just beginning your involvement, your presence and participation are welcome.
