The online application portal for the 2022 Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) scholarship program has opened.
Jan. 7 is the deadline to apply for one of four $5,000 scholarships available to full-time post-secondary students pursuing a career or degree in an agriculture-related field. Students must be young-adult MCGA members to be eligible for a scholarship. The young-adult membership is for 16- to 24-year-olds and costs $20 annually.
As part of the application, students are expected to submit a resume, school transcripts, letter of recommendation and short essay. Winners will be notified on or before March 1.
