The University of Minnesota Extension and Pope County 4-H will host the Pope County 4-H FLOP Ambassadors Fall Festival on November 1, 2026, at the Glenwood Welcome Center/Chamber Building in Glenwood, Minnesota. The free event will provide teens with opportunities to develop leadership skills, connect with peers, and become involved in community-focused projects.
The festival marks the beginning of a new year for the Future Leaders Of Pope (FLOP) Ambassadors, a youth leadership program focused on developing future community leaders. Through leadership activities and collaborative experiences, participants play an active role in supporting local 4-H programs and community initiatives.
Open to students in grades 6 and above, the event will allow participants to meet other youth, take part in activities, and begin planning projects and events for the coming year. The program encourages teamwork, leadership development, and community involvement among young people from across Pope County.
Students interested in joining the FLOP Ambassadors are encouraged to apply, and no previous 4-H experience is required. The program welcomes any teen interested in strengthening leadership skills and making a positive impact in their community.
The event is free to attend, with registration available from September 15 through October 29, 2026. Organizers encourage interested youth to register before the deadline.
The Fall Festival is designed to help students build connections, explore leadership opportunities, and become more engaged in community service and personal development through 4-H programs.
