According to the University of Minnesota Extension, the Twin Cities Metro Growers Network will host a farm tour at Rapha Farms on July 29, 2026. The event will give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the farm's goat milk soap business and how it has grown over the years.
Farm owners will lead a guided tour of the property, sharing how Rapha Farms developed into a successful value-added agricultural enterprise. Attendees will explore the soap-making facility and goat pasture while learning about the process used to create goat milk soaps and related products.
The tour will also showcase how the farm markets its products through local retailers and farmers markets across the Twin Cities area. The event is designed to provide practical insights for those interested in small-scale farming, entrepreneurship, and value-added agriculture.
The Twin Cities Metro Growers Network is a collaboration between the Sustainable Farming Association and the University of Minnesota Extension in Hennepin County, helping support local growers and farm-based businesses.
The event is free and open to the public, though advance registration is encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome, and parking will be available on-site.
Because the tour will take place on a working farm with uneven terrain, attendees with accessibility needs are encouraged to contact event coordinator Lia Spaniolo in advance. The program will be conducted in English, and interpreter services may be available upon request.
