The Farmer Cooperatives Young Leaders Scholarship Program is for college students who have an interest in agribusiness and cooperatives. The program is an opportunity for students to interact with agribusiness leaders, exposing students to different segments of the agricultural cooperative sector, and enhancing students’ preparedness to enter careers in agriculture.
Each scholarship recipient must attend the Farmer Cooperatives Conference, Dec. 5-6 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Students will be recognized at the conference welcome reception and will be paired with agribusiness leaders during the conference luncheon. It is expected that award recipients will submit a short statement about their experience at the Farmer Cooperatives Conference.
The Farmer Cooperatives Young Leaders Scholarship includes: full conference registration, two nights lodging at the conference hotel, and funds to cover travel, meals, and incidental expenses not covered by the conference, up to $500.
