University Extension Hosts Pope County 4-H Cloverbud

Young children in Pope County will have the opportunity to explore 4-H through the upcoming Pope County 4-H Cloverbud Fall Party. Designed for students in kindergarten through second grade, the event introduces youth to hands-on learning and the many opportunities available through the 4-H program.

Cloverbuds are the youngest members of 4-H and are encouraged to explore new interests through creative and interactive activities. The event will help participants build curiosity, confidence, and social connections in a fun learning environment.

Children will have the chance to try a variety of activities inspired by 4-H projects. These may include crafts, engineering challenges, and other hands-on experiences that promote learning through exploration and play.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a friend and enjoy an evening of discovery and fun. Snacks will be provided, creating a welcoming setting for young participants to meet others and learn about 4-H.

The event will take place on October,23, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Pope County Courthouse Community Room in Glenwood, Minnesota. The registration fee is $5, and advance registration is required.

Organized by the University of Minnesota Extension 4-H Youth Development Program, the event supports youth development through educational and engaging activities. Families needing accommodations are encouraged to contact organizers before the event, and interpreter services may be available upon request.
