Minnesota Soybean, Wheat Stocks Lower than 2019

Corn stored in all positions in Minnesota on December 1, 2020, totaled 1.34 billion bushels, up 10% from December 1, 2019, according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service -- Grain Stocks report. Of the total stocks, 73% were stored on-farm. The September - November 2020 indicated disappearance totaled 348 million bushels, 18% more than the 295 million bushels from the same period the previous year.

Soybeans stored in all positions in Minnesota on December 1, 2020, totaled 271 million bushels, 8% below the 294 million bushels on hand December 1, 2019. Of the total stocks, 52% were stored on-farm. Indicated disappearance for September - November 2020 was 137 million bushels, 40% more than the 97.8 million bushels from the same period the previous year.

All wheat stored in all positions in Minnesota on December 1, 2020, totaled 88.7 million bushels, 6% less than December 1, 2019. Of the total stocks, 65% were stored on-farm. Indicated disappearance for September - November 2020 was 9.20 million bushels, 45% less than the 16.8 million bushels from the same period the previous year.
