The Minnesota Nutrition Conference is a leading annual event dedicated to advancing livestock production through research-based knowledge. Presented by the University of Minnesota Department of Animal Science and University of Minnesota Extension, the conference focuses on the sustainable development of beef, dairy, poultry, and swine industries.
The event delivers high-quality, science-driven sessions aimed at supporting livestock professionals in adopting modern, effective, and sustainable practices. It provides a platform for participants to learn from experts, gain insights into new research, and connect with others involved in animal nutrition and production.
Early registration is available at a cost of $225 through September 5, 2025. Standard and on-site registration is $275, while University of Minnesota faculty and students may register for $75. Registration is strongly encouraged, though walk-in participants are also welcome.
In addition to expert-led sessions, the event invites organizations to explore sponsorship opportunities, providing visibility and networking benefits within the livestock industry.
The University of Minnesota Extension emphasizes accessibility for all attendees. “University of Minnesota Extension is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services and activities.” To support this commitment, individuals with disabilities may request accommodation by contacting the event organizers two weeks in advance. Interpreter services may also be arranged with prior notice.
This year’s conference will be delivered in English, with interpreter services available on request. By blending tradition with research innovation, the Minnesota Nutrition Conference continues to serve as a vital source of knowledge and collaboration for the future of livestock production.
