Enchanted Dairy Hosts High-Oleic Soybean Field Day Event

By Scout Nelson

Dairy producers, consultants, and agricultural service professionals are invited to attend a high-oleic soybean field day on August 14, 2026, at Enchanted Dairy in Little Falls, Minnesota. The event will focus on feed innovation, crop management practices, and strategies to improve dairy farm profitability.

A featured attraction will be a live demonstration of an advanced oil-jacket roaster operating in a dedicated roasting facility. Attendees will learn how the technology supports feed processing and have the opportunity to discuss equipment performance with industry experts.

The program will also include presentations from Enchanted Dairy hosts Jake and Brook Carrow, who will share their experiences using high-oleic soybeans on their farm. Their insights will highlight both the economic and nutritional benefits of incorporating the crop into dairy operations.

Participants can choose from several tour options, including a guided trailer tour of the Parkview calf and transition facilities or a walking tour of the dairy’s milking and manure management systems. Additional opportunities will be available to meet directly with the roasting system engineer and learn more about the technology.

The free event is designed for dairy farmers and industry professionals seeking practical information on feed technologies, soybean utilization, and dairy management. Lunch will be provided for registered attendees.
