Join MFBF for National Ag Day 2025

By Scout Nelson

The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) is gearing up for the 2025 legislative session, which begins on January 14. The organization is committed to collaborating with state leaders and elected officials to drive meaningful change in Minnesota's agricultural landscape. MFBF's policy development process is driven by the active involvement of its members, ensuring a member-focused and bipartisan approach that amplifies the voices of farmers and ranchers.

MFBF's key priorities for 2025 include supporting generational farming, fostering environmental stewardship through science-based conservation practices, promoting research and innovation for the future of agriculture, strengthening rural prosperity, and improving animal emergency preparedness. The Federation aims to create policies that benefit farmers, ranchers, and surrounding communities while addressing challenges in agriculture.

Throughout the legislative session, MFBF will maintain a presence at the Capitol, and members are encouraged to participate in the organization's Day on the Hill event on March 18, National Ag Day. This event provides an opportunity for farmers to connect with lawmakers and share agriculture’s priorities.

The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation, representing over 31,000 members across 78 counties, plays a vital role in advocating for the state's agricultural community through grassroots efforts, policy advocacy, and public awareness. For more information on how to get involved, visit www.fbmn.org.
