Kubota KATR wins 2025 CES Best of Innovation Award

By Jamie Martin

Kubota North America has achieved significant recognition at the CES 2025 Innovation Awards, claiming the prestigious Best of Innovation Award for its innovative all-terrain robot, the Kubota KATR.

This accolade, bestowed by the Consumer Technology Association, highlights Kubota's dedication to enhancing the agriculture and construction sectors through advanced technology.

The Kubota KATR is a compact, four-wheeled robot designed to navigate challenging off-road conditions. Featuring a stable cargo deck and advanced stability control, the KATR can operate effectively on uneven terrains, including hills and slopes.

This makes it an invaluable tool in demanding agricultural and construction environments, where traditional equipment often falls short.

Powered by either an electric or combustion engine, the KATR offers versatility and high performance without compromising on environmental sustainability or efficiency. Its innovative design includes a real-time stability control system that adjusts its hydraulically actuated legs to maintain balance, ensuring continuous operation under diverse conditions.

With a load capacity of 129 kg, the KATR is not only robust but also flexible, capable of being controlled remotely or via an onboard controller. Its design reflects Kubota's commitment to providing customer-oriented solutions that prioritize productivity and enjoyment while conserving resources.

The CES Innovation Awards, organized by the CTA, are a benchmark for recognizing outstanding design and engineering across various categories.

Kubota’s success in the Industrial Equipment and Machinery category underscores its role as a leader in integrating cutting-edge technology with practical applications for the modern world.

Kubota's presence at CES 2025, from January 7-10 in Las Vegas, marks a significant step towards future innovations in the industry.
