The 11th annual Nitrogen: Minnesota's Grand Challenge and Compelling Opportunity Conference will take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Mankato, MN. Just two weeks later, the 17th annual Nutrient Management Conference will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in St. Cloud, MN.
These conferences, organized by the University of Minnesota Extension and the Minnesota Agricultural Water Resource Center (MAWRC), offer a wealth of knowledge on nutrient management, soil fertility, and water quality.
Each conference brings together experts from the University of Minnesota, other land-grant universities, and the agricultural industry. Attendees can expect presentations on essential topics like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, and micronutrient management in various cropping systems. In addition, sessions will cover soil health, cover crops, manure management, and irrigation practices.
The events provide an opportunity to stay informed about the latest research and the most up-to-date guidelines for nutrient management. Attendees will have the chance to network with researchers, crop advisors, and other industry professionals from across the region and beyond.
For Certified Crop Advisors (CCAs), both conferences offer valuable continuing education credits (CEUs) in soil, water, and nutrient management. These credits make the events not only informative but also essential for professional development.
Detailed registration information will be available soon, so those interested are encouraged to stay updated by subscribing to the Minnesota Crop News email newsletter. The newsletter offers daily or weekly updates and is an excellent resource for the latest in crop research and nutrient management.
