At the recent Ag Expo in Mankato, Minnesota 4-H emerged as a celebrated organization, receiving the Industry Partner of the Year award from the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association (MSGA). This recognition underscores the significant contribution of Minnesota 4-H in fostering the next generation of agricultural professionals, particularly in the soybean industry.

MSGA President Bob Worth expressed the association's appreciation for their partnership with Minnesota 4-H, acknowledging the vital role the organization plays in educating future soybean farmers, researchers, and industry professionals.

The award was accepted by Minnesota 4-H Agriculture Ambassadors Arabelle R. from Sherburne County and Ellie S. from Dodge County. They were joined by prominent figures from the Extension leadership, including Dean Bev Durgan, Associate Dean Jennifer Skuza, and Extension Educators Brian Mc Neill and Anja Johnson, who spearhead the statewide 4-H plant science program.

In the past year, the 4-H plant science program has engaged nearly 524 participants through both in-person and virtual learning programs. Brian Mc Neill emphasized the value of their partnership with MSGA, highlighting how it opens new educational avenues for future agriculturalists and consumers.

This award from MSGA to Minnesota 4-H is a testament to the organization's impactful work in agricultural education and its crucial contribution to the growth and sustainability of Minnesota's agricultural sector.
