Topsoil moisture supplies were rated 9% very short, 24% short, 65% adequate and 2% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies were rated 17% very short, 37% short, 45% adequate and 1% surplus.
Corn dented reached 97%, four days behind last year but four days ahead of average. Corn mature reached 75%, three days behind last year but eight days ahead of the average. Corn harvested for grain reached 10%, five days ahead of last year and ten days ahead of the average. Corn harvested for silage reached 92%. Corn condition rated 38% good to excellent.
Soybeans dropping leaves reached 90%, one day ahead of last year and eight days ahead of the average. Soybeans harvested reached 30%, one day ahead of last year and seven days ahead of the average. Soybean condition rated 35% good to excellent.
Dry beans harvested was 72% complete. Potatoes were 59% harvested. Sunflowers reached 3% harvested. Sunflower condition rated 37% good to excellent. Sugarbeets reached 11% harvested. Sugarbeet condition rated 72% good to excellent.
Pasture condition was 26% very poor, 29% poor, 32% fair, 11% good and 2% excellent. No livestock losses reported.
