Corn stored in all positions in Minnesota on June 1, 2022, totaled 467 million bushels, down 2 percent from June 1, 2021, according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service -- Grain Stocks report. Of the total stocks, 70 percent were stored on-farm. The March-May 2022 indicated disappearance totaled 350 million bushels, 23 percent below the 454 million bushels from the same quarter the previous year.
Soybeans stored in all positions in Minnesota on June 1, 2022, totaled 94.1 million bushels, up 29 percent from June 1, 2021. Of the total stocks, 53 percent were stored on-farm. Indicated disappearance for March-May 2022 was 82.3 million bushels, 11 percent above the 74.2 million bushels from the same quarter the previous year.
All wheat stored in all positions in Minnesota on June 1, 2022, totaled 22.3 million bushels, down 52 percent from June 1, 2021. Of the total stocks, 52 percent were stored on-farm. Indicated disappearance for March-May 2022 was 19.1 million bushels, 11 percent below the 21.4 million bushels from the same quarter last year.
