MN Ag Expo 2024 - Inspirational Gathering for Farming Community

By Scout Nelson

The annual Minnesota Ag Expo is poised to make a significant return in January 2024, bringing together Minnesota's agriculture community for a robust two-day event filled with learning and networking opportunities.

The Expo, hosted by the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association (MSGA) and the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA), is set to take place on January 17-18 at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato.

P.J. Fleck, the head football coach of the University of Minnesota Gophers, will deliver the keynote address during the evening dinner on January 17. His message, focusing on leadership, teamwork, and resiliency, aims to inspire the farming community for a successful year ahead.

Joe Smentek, MSGA Executive Director, expressed excitement for the inspirational message from Coach Fleck. The event is seen as a unique opportunity for industry partners and friends to set goals and strategies for 2024.

The MN Ag Expo is a prominent trade show with nearly 100 booths from various commodity groups, agencies, and agribusinesses. It features legislative and guest speakers, educational breakout sessions, and legislative sessions. MCGA President Dana Allen-Tully emphasizes the Expo's role in addressing grower needs for effective advocacy.

Bob Worth, MSGA President, also highlights the importance of the Ag Expo as a platform for farmers to stay informed about industry trends and legislative updates. The event is an essential gathering for stakeholders in agriculture, providing a comprehensive view of the industry's current landscape.

Registration for the MN Ag Expo is already open, and attendees can sign up at mnagexpo.com/attendee-registration. This event promises to be an unmissable occasion for anyone involved in Minnesota’s agriculture sector, offering unparalleled opportunities for growth, networking, and learning.
