Representing Area 3, Ryan Ammermann brings a wealth of knowledge to the council. Transitioning from the renewable energy industry to his family farm, Ammermann's passion for edible beans led him to incorporate them into his crop rotation. Drawing from his experience and research, he seeks to improve production techniques and explore the potential of value-added varieties, aiming to make edible beans more appealing and nutrient-dense for consumers.

Joining the council from Area 4, Dan Ohden shares his enthusiasm for promoting a healthy and profitable crop. Diversifying his farming operation a decade ago, Ohden recognized the value of growing a crop that directly contributes to people's diets.

Through his membership on the council, he aims to enhance the market for edible beans, benefiting fellow farmers and supporting research and development initiatives. Ohden's successful experience with edible beans has solidified their position as his most profitable crop, underscoring the potential for sustained growth and market demand.
