2024 ag professionals research update - key dates announced

By Scout Nelson

The University of Minnesota Extension's Research Update for Ag Professionals is undergoing a significant transformation for its 2024 edition. Echoing the timeless relevance of Bob Dylan's 'The Times They Are a-Changin', the event is set to introduce a new format to better serve the needs of agricultural professionals.

This revamped version promises shorter talks covering a broader range of topics, combined with the convenience of online participation. It's a nod to the evolving landscape of agricultural research and the ongoing need for professionals in the field to stay informed with the latest findings and developments.

The in-person meetings are scheduled at three distinct locations:

Owatonna: Held on January 3rd at the Morehouse Room of Owatonna Public Utilities, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Willmar: Taking place on January 4th at the Willmar Convention Center in the Best Western, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Crookston: Set for January 11th at the Auditorium of the Northwest Research & Outreach Center, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Online meetings have been arranged to enhance accessibility. These virtual sessions are scheduled for 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on February 6th, 9th, and 15th.

Participants are encouraged to mark these dates in their calendars and stay tuned for further details. Information about speakers, topics, and registration will be available on Minnesota Crop News .

This initiative reflects the University of Minnesota Extension's commitment to providing cutting-edge, practical information to those in the agricultural sector.
