Gov. Doug Burgum on Wednesday will help break ground on the North Dakota Soybean Processors soybean crush plant near Casselton.
The governor also will participate in a media conference with federal, state and local leaders and the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber regarding a $9.6 million federal grant to expand workforce development programs to support the agriculture, manufacturing and technology industries in North Dakota and Minnesota.
U.S. Senator John Hoeven will help break ground on the new plant.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. CT Aug. 24 at the Armory Event Center, 904 Center Ave, Moorhead, Minn.
The actual groundbreaking will take place at the North Dakota Soybean Processors site at 15445 35th St. S.E., ceremony in BankNorth Theatre at Central Cass High School, 802 5th St. N., Casselton, N.D..
