Future Ag Leaders Join Farm Bureau

Future Ag Leaders Join Farm Bureau

By Scout Nelson

The Minnesota Farm Bureau has welcomed two student interns to its state office for the summer of 2025. Starting on May 27, both interns will contribute to advancing the organization’s mission to promote and support Minnesota agriculture through outreach, education, and communication.

One intern will serve in the communications role. With academic experience in agricultural communications and marketing, she will focus on media outreach and content creation. Her responsibilities include helping share the stories of Minnesota agriculture and increasing public awareness about the farming community’s impact.

The second intern joins as a special program assistant. She is currently pursuing degrees in animal science and agricultural communications. With a background in livestock and active involvement in 4-H and FFA, she brings strong experience in community engagement and youth programs.

This summer, she will help organize special events and programs related to livestock management and sustainable agriculture. She will also support member outreach and assist with planning conferences and meetings across the state.

Both interns bring valuable skills and enthusiasm to their summer roles. Their contributions will strengthen Farm Bureau’s ongoing efforts to advocate for Minnesota’s agriculture community and engage with members across the region.

By involving young leaders in real-world experiences, Minnesota Farm Bureau continues to invest in the future of agriculture through education, innovation, and active participation in agricultural development.
