The University of Minnesota Extension is set to host its upcoming Weed Science Field Day on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. This event, taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Rosemount Research and Outreach Center in Rosemount, MN, promises a comprehensive showcase of the latest advancements in weed management.
Participants will have the opportunity to view research-plot demonstrations covering a variety of topics crucial for modern agriculture. These include herbicide-resistant weed management, the introduction of new herbicides and technologies, strategies for managing volunteer corn, and the effective use of cover crops in controlling weeds in both corn and soybean fields.
