NPPGA Partners with the N.D. at National Restaurant Show

The National Restaurant Association show took place in Chicago and the Northern Plains Potato Growers Association (NPPGA), East Grand Forks, Minn., was invited by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture to educate attendees about North Dakota commodities. In the past, NPPGA has exhibited in the Minnesota Ag Department pavilion.

Over the course of the four-day show, NPPGA representatives Leah Halverson and Jacey Kuersteiner spoke with thousands of people about North Dakota potatoes and why "Nature's Flavor" truly makes for the best potatoes!

NPPGA thanked Commissioner Doug Goering and John Schneider, business, marketing and information director for the Department of Agriculture, for enabling potato representation at NRA.

NPPGA plans to join North Dakota officials in Miami at America's Food and Beverage Show in September.
