Returning Livestock to the Land - in Minneapolis



Diversity Landworks and Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board are restoring ecological health to neglected, graze-obligate lands with livestock at Theodore Wirth Park. Come see how it is done on June 29 with the Ecological Service Livestock Network.

Kyle Johnson, Diversity Landworks, will show how goats are used to great effect to control invasives and restore ecological functionality.

James Schaffer, Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, will discuss how incorporating livestock fits with the Park's management goals.

This event is free to attend. Registration requested, though walkups are welcome.
