USDA Offers Low-Interest Physical Loss Loans for Minnesota Producers Affected by High Winds


The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), through its Farm Service Agency (FSA), has announced the availability of low-interest physical loss loans to support producers in Minnesota who have suffered damage from high winds. These loans aim to help farmers repair or replace essential physical property, including livestock and various agricultural assets vital to their operations.

Eligible Property:

Various types of property, including farm buildings, real estate fixtures, equipment, animals, perennial crops, fruit and nut trees, as well as harvested or stored crops and hay, are covered by the loans. These include property that is essential to agricultural success.

Triggering Disaster: High Winds

Application Deadline: January 30, 2024
