Women in Ag Network Conference 2025 details

By Scout Nelson

The Women in Ag Network Conference 2025 is designed for beginning, future, and experienced farmers, as well as educators and agricultural enthusiasts. This event promises a full day of educational sessions, expert speakers, and networking opportunities for professionals in the agricultural sector.

The conference focuses on key areas such as farm business management and production. Topics include managing farm finances, healthy soils, pasture management, goal setting, crop and livestock integration, childcare planning in business strategies, grant opportunities, agricultural product marketing, social media presence, and enhancing wellbeing and resiliency.

Pre-Conference Healthcare Session

A new addition for 2025 is the pre-conference session, "Healthy Farms Through Healthcare Access," scheduled for February 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. This in-person workshop highlights how integrating healthcare and insurance into farm risk management and budgeting can improve farm viability and growth.

Participants will gain insights based on USDA and CDC research and leave with actionable steps to strengthen their farm’s health and safety practices. This session costs $15 and can be added to the conference registration.

Registration Details

Early registration closes on January 26. The fee for the pre-session and full conference is $100, while the full conference alone is $85. Students can register for $55. After January 26, regular registration rates apply, with the full conference costing $99 and the combined pre-session and conference fee at $114.

For more details, including the agenda, hotel booking, and financial assistance options, visit the conference website. Contact Elaine Hardy at wagne079@umn.edu for media inquiries or financial assistance by January 27.

This conference is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, connect with peers, and advance your agricultural goals.
