The Minnesota State Fair is not just an event but a tradition, celebrating the young talents of the state. From August 29-31, 2023, the Minnesota State Fairgrounds at 1412 Cosgrove St., St. Paul becomes a beehive of activities, thanks to the 4-H general encampment 2.
What makes the 4-H general encampment so special? It’s a chance, a golden opportunity for students from grades 6-12. These are not just any students, but the ones who have shown exceptional skills and dedication at the county level. They are invited to bring a project, a symbol of their hard work, to the encampment.
But it doesn’t end there. The encampment spans over two nights and three immersive days. It’s a time when participants can engage in myriad activities, learn from their peers, and finally, have their projects judged by professionals.
