Climate change poses significant challenges to farming, but the upcoming training sessions for 2023-2024 offer practical solutions and strategies for farmers. Organized by the Land Stewardship Project (LSP) and UMN Extension, these events focus on building resilience and sustainable practices in the face of a changing climate.
Join the essential in-person training session titled "Introduction to Climate Resilience for Farmers" on January 16th, from 12:00 to 2:30 pm in St. Cloud, MN.
This session provides an overview of local climate trends, risk identification, and planning for mitigations. It features presentations from farmers on their climate resilience strategies. Lunch is included and registration is mandatory.
The Whole Farm Planning for Climate Change is a three-part event designed to enhance your farming practices in the face of climate challenges. The series begins online with -

Part 3: February 29th, 10:00-3:30pm (in-person, Hudson, WI)
