Are you looking to recertify your commercial or noncommercial pesticide license in categories C or H in 2024? The University of Minnesota's PSEE offers an engaging alternative to traditional classroom settings with a field day dedicated to pesticide recertification.

This event is scheduled for July 10, 2024, at the UMN Southern Research & Outreach Center in Waseca, MN. Participants will engage in a variety of activities aimed at enhancing their practical knowledge:

  • Equipment calibration and proper application techniques
  • Effective drift management strategies
  • Safe procedures for mixing, loading, and systems safety
  • Proper storage and container cleaning
  • Integrated Pest Management and protecting pollinators
  • Tools for pest identification and management
  • Latest chemical updates and their applications
  • Interactive safety scavenger hunt and demonstrations
  • Cutting-edge drone application technology
  • Seed treatment processes and safety measures

A nominal fee is required for commercial applicators, with costs set at $145 for categories A/C and $190 for A/C/H. Other attendees, such as private applicators and Extension educators, can join for educational purposes at a fee of $45, though this will not qualify for recertification.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all participants, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable learning experience.
