MDA Herbicide Best Management Practices Adoption Survey

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) needs your help understanding current use of various pest management practices by crop producers. Please complete the survey so the MDA can better serve Minnesota producers.

MDA, in cooperation with the University of Minnesota Extension and other interested parties, developed general herbicide use Best Management Practices (BMPs) to protect Minnesota water quality. In addition, water quality BMPs have been developed for specific herbicides which have been frequently detected in Minnesota surface or groundwater, such as atrazine and acetochlor.

An online Agricultural Herbicide Best Management Practices Adoption Survey was developed to gauge the current use of these practices. The survey is anonymous and will not be used for enforcement in any way, so please answer the question accurately.

Please complete the survey at https://bit.ly/3FIEnit by April 4. Thank you for your assistance. If you have questions or concerns, contact Larry VanLieshout, MDA, 651-201-6115, larry.vanlieshout@state.mn.us.
