The Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds is set to host the much-anticipated Minnesota Beef Expo. From October 19 to 22, this event promises an array of activities that champion the beef industry. Guests from the Midwest and beyond are expected to flock to this annual event.

A highlight is the Youth Knowledge Bowl on October 19, backed by the Minnesota Beef Council. Young enthusiasts will face off in a quiz about cattle and beef. The same day, the Sullivan Supply Stock Show University Seminar offers tips on animal hair care, followed by a youth-centric fitting contest.

That evening, the symposium will spotlight Nathan Anderson, known as @mnagteacher on TikTok, who'll discuss his journey as an agricultural educator.

October 20 move forward with a Judging Contest and Junior Showmanship Competition. Participants will evaluate various cattle breeds and display their animal handling skills. The next day, the Sale Cattle Show precedes the Supreme Row Cattle Sale. The Beef Ambassador Team Competition is another key attraction, aiming to educate the public about beef and its benefits.

The event concludes on October 22 with a Breeding Heifer Show. Here, young participants, aged 8-21, will present over 800 animals, competing for numerous awards.

Throughout the expo, prominent breeders will display a range of cattle breeds. This celebration, supported by the Minnesota State Fair and beef industry leaders, reinforces the importance of youth participation in animal agriculture.
