Minnesota Cropland Rents Up $8, Pasture Rent Up $1



Non-irrigated cropland cash rent averaged $185.00 per acre in Minnesota during 2022, $8.00 higher than 2021, according to the latest report released by USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Pasture rented for cash averaged $27.00 per acre, $1.00 above 2021.

Dodge County had the highest cash rent for non-irrigated cropland at $268.00 per acre, followed by Martin County at $265.00 per acre. Wabasha, Renville, and Waseca rounded out the top five. Carlton County, at $17.50 per acre, had the lowest average cash rent for non-irrigated cropland.

Dodge had the highest published pasture cash rent at $67.50 per acre, followed by Nobles and Rock at $66.50 per acre. Carlton County had the lowest pasture cash rent at $5.00 per acre.
