4H Rabbit Members Meet in Minnesota

By Scout Nelson

The University of Minnesota Extension is hosting the 4-H Rabbit Project Planning Meeting on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Central time. The meeting will take place at the Olmsted County Fair Board Office, located at 1402 Fairgrounds Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904.

This engaging event welcomes 4-H rabbit members and volunteers from any county who wish to participate in planning and supporting future 4-H rabbit programs, activities, and resources. The meeting provides a valuable opportunity to share ideas, connect with other enthusiasts, and contribute to the success of local rabbit projects.

The event is free to attend, and no registration is required. Anyone with an interest in learning more about or helping with 4-H rabbit programs is encouraged to join.

The session will be facilitated by Megan Wilson, an Extension educator, who can be contacted at brads160@umn.edu or 507-328-6217 for additional information.

As part of its mission, the University of Minnesota Extension ensures equal opportunities for participation in all events and activities. Those needing accommodation for disabilities are encouraged to contact the event organizer two weeks before the start of the meeting. Requests received later will be honored whenever possible.

This meeting will be conducted in English, and interpreter services may be available upon advance request.

The 4-H Rabbit Project Planning Meeting is a great way to get more involved, share insights, and help build stronger programs for youth and volunteers in the 4-H community. Participants will gain experience in planning and collaboration while supporting the growth of local agricultural education.
