Private pesticide applicators with certifications expiring on March 1, 2025, must renew their certification by the end of February to avoid expiration.
There’s still time to register for a 2025 recertification workshop, with both in-person and online options available until February 28. To confirm if you need to recertify, check the front of your applicator card or visit the appropriate website for license verification.
Registration is open for several locations, including Sauk Centre, Jackson, Belle Plaine, Arlington, Braham, Lamberton, Worthington, Olivia, Foley, and Farmington. There are also two Zoom recertification sessions. Be mindful that advance registration closes three days before the workshop, so sign up soon.
Walk-in registration is available for all in-person workshops. If attending in person, bring a photo ID, your applicator card, and a $100 check made out to the University of Minnesota. For more details about the workshops and locations, visit the University’s website.
If you are unable to attend a workshop, you can still recertify by taking a mail-in or online exam. You can pick up a mail-in exam packet at your local Extension office or access the online exam on the provided website.
