Minnesota Ag Expo Trade Show

Minnesota Ag Expo Trade Show

By Scout Nelson

MN Ag Expo 2026 has returned as a major winter gathering for the agricultural community in Minnesota. The free annual convention, hosted by Minnesota Corn and Minnesota Soybean, is being held at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato. The event begins with a welcome reception, followed by two full days of learning, networking, demonstrations, and a large trade show.

Although online registration has closed, walk up attendance is welcome, making it easy for interested participants to take part. The event is designed to share practical knowledge, research updates, and industry insights in a clear and engaging way.

On the trade show floor, visitors can stop at the Minnesota Corn booth to learn how corn organizations are working to expand opportunities in agriculture while supporting strong rural communities.

Information is available on how checkoff investments support research, market development, sustainability efforts, and advocacy programs that strengthen agricultural productivity and economic growth.

Educational sessions are a key part of MN Ag Expo 2026. Topics include agricultural economics, global trade flows, policy updates, and state-level legislative priorities. Additional sessions focus on fertilizer markets, mental health awareness, and the importance of agricultural trade relationships with Mexico and Canada. These sessions help connect global events to local decision making.

Minnesota Corn also hosts special events during the expo, including a county reception with activities and its annual business meetings. These sessions encourage participation, discussion, and collaboration within the agricultural community.

Throughout the event, leadership and staff are available to answer questions and share information about membership opportunities, programs, and ongoing initiatives. Educational displays and research presentations further highlight how innovation and sustainability continue to shape the future of agriculture.
