University of Minnesota Extension continues its winter education series with a special webinar focused on helping growers add fruit production to their farms. This online session is part of the weekly Fruit and Vegetable Production Webinar Series designed to support farmers with practical, easy-to-understand production guidance.
The webinar takes place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Central Time. It is delivered as an online webinar and is open to the public at no cost. The session is designed for aspiring farmers and small to medium-sized farm operators who are interested in expanding their operations with fruit crops.
During this session, University of Minnesota Extension educators, industry professionals, and experienced farmers discuss how to successfully add fruit crops to a farm. The presentation covers important topics such as crop planning, irrigation practices, and pest management strategies. Participants also learn how to manage fruit crops through different growing stages and improve farm productivity.
The webinar is part of a full winter series that provides weekly learning opportunities. Each session focuses on different areas of fruit and vegetable production, helping growers build knowledge from planning to harvest. The goal is to improve farm success while supporting sustainable practices and healthy crop management.
